. Microformats is a set of simple, open dataformats buildt on top of existing and widely adopted standards. This is an example of a hCard which contain all my personal information. Like a business card if you want.
Calvin Yu have made a really interesting extension for Firefox, where you get a notification if your are on a web page with a microformat. Then you can get a side bar with the information, and you can show or export the information as you want. If you want to know more about Microformats I suggest you head over there and read a bit about it. There is lots of tools there for you to make your own hCard, or even hCalender and other formats that you can add to your blog or what ever page you are updating.
When you have made your hCard or any other microformat, you can Ping it at technocrati. And people can search for it it and find you on the technocrati home page. A search for CERN right now will give two contact sheets. One for me, and one for Håkon Wium Lie.
