For a long time the
Optimus keyboard has been on my wish list for Christmas, but the waiting has seemed endless. The idea is simple, but yet so elegant. It is a beauty of art.
But what I just read made my heart stop pumping for a minute. It seems that it might not end up in
colours after all.
They back that up with:
Black and White is perfect for 95% of the tasks a keyboard requires.
Well, I think they might forget something here. Geeks don`t buy this for 95% of the tasks for their computer. Neon light in their tower isn`t used for anything at all, but people still buy it. In fact, my current keyboard can handle 100% of my tasks fine already. I don`t really look at the keys anyway, I just want this because it looks cool. And it is a show off. If the look is taken away, there isn`t really much left to it. So I think I have to echo some of the comments in the blog right here and now if this goes through.

I have for a long time been impressed by robots. Probably the boy inside me, or maybe I am just not ment to grow up.
But for some reason I ended up with programming in stead of electronics. But have a keen interest in both fields. Just never find free time to read up much on the subject. Even if I really hope it is not one of those things I have to wait with untill I am retired to do.
But then I saw this really cool
video clip of a robot fight and I started to feel I have the wrong job again. But I guess that is something everyone feel every now and then. Isn`t it? I am still pretty sure that coding was the right way to go for me. At least I have still 2 more years before I am finished with my degree, and my current job here at
CERN isn`t that bad at all ;)

Some
jammy git have been testing
Gigabyte's I-RAM . And made a
video where you can see Windows XP restarts and then he can immediately do a search afterwards. To give you a hint, the video is only 35sec included everything. Sweet. Doesn't take much time to access the hard driver there. Anyone care to buy me one?
